You hear about lightbulb, aha moments don’t you? well, I had one a while ago. I realised that I was not the only person in the world who’d given up a successful corporate career to take care of a loved one (in my case my mum). I wasn’t the only person who missed corporate. To be honest I’d go back in a heartbeat if circumstances were different.
Mum is now in a nursing home (that’s her on the right) but a return to corporate is out of the question – I’ve been out for too long and I want to stay in this area to see mum each day.
So realising that I was not alone I decided to start a business club for people who’ve given up corporate to become a caregiver and who will almost certainly have to reconcile themselves to the not being able to go back and having to start their own business in order to survive financially.
The Caregivers Business Club
This is what the Caregivers Business Club has to offer:
- a private Facebook group where we can share ideas, concerns, news about the business world, ask questions about starting out in business and running a business and ….get answers.
- a monthly newsletter with exclusive information and articles
- a monthly Q and A call where we discuss a particular topic. The replay will only be made available to members of the club.
- a monthly conversation with an expert or someone with very strong relevant experience and lots of great advice to share
The cost is just $25 a month and this is all you will ever pay. Eventually the price will go up for new members joining.
BUT..
